These are a sneak peek of Kate's Senior pictures...I had a great time shooting this sweet and beautiful girl. First, we went to the art museum, and ended the shoot at Cary High. I was excited to get some shots of her by the Auditorium sign and doors, since she was involved in singing and theatre throughout her high school years. I thought it was really sweet when Kate asked her mom, Kara, to be in some of her pictures. I love them. They seem like they have a really special relationship, and it shows in the pictures. I know that her family is going to miss her very much when she goes away to school after the Summer! I wish her all the best as she starts a new chapter in her life!
Meet Kate, Alec, and Micah. These are some sneak peek pictures I took of them while shooting their family portrait. They were so great during the shoot...no complaints....up for anything..and great smiles!
Here is a 'sneak peek' at the Patchin's Family Portrait! I absolutely loved hanging out with these guys...they are such a fun family (the photo above will show you that). We met at the WRAL azalea gardens last Sunday afternoon, and it was both mine and their first time visiting the gardens. It was a bit crowded...and really sunny...but I still think we got some great shots! We took a ton of pictures that day...I did shots of the whole family, some of the kids, and then Kate's Senior Portraits . Needless to say, I have alot of editing to finish, but was so excited to show you a few of my favorites. To avoid having one long post of all their pictures, I am going to break them up into two more posts, which will be up very soon!
Rarely do people get to do what they love all day every day. I do. I get to take pictures for people... and spend my days with the cutest kid in the world...I know every parent thinks their kid is the cutest kid in the world...but mine really is. :) As he's gotten older, he has become my little friend that just comes along with me and keeps me company everywhere I go...When I think back on life before him...it feels empty...like something was missing all along. Ben, my husband, works for the City of Raleigh and is a musician...an amazing musician actually... We really enjoy playing music together. I still absolutely LOVE to hold his hand.
